Track your child's progress on web

Flint Community Schools announces the availability of ParentWeb, an internet-based program that was developed and implemented to improve communications with parents regarding their children's grades, attendance, homework assignments, school news and more.
"Students whose parents are actively involved in their education have a much greater chance of success in the classroom," said Superintendent Linda Thompson. "Providing our parents with more effective and timely communication about their child's academic progress helps strengthen the educational partnership between the classroom and the home."
ParentWeb may be accessed from the Flint Community Schools' home page (www.flintschools.org) by selecting either the Parents or Students links. A brief tutorial on ParentWeb can also be found in the Helpful Links section on the Students page.
"ParentWeb provides a way to keep track on a regular basis without always having to call the school or wait until parent conferences occur," Thompson added. "This feedback ultimately benefits the student."
Questions regarding password or student information should be directed to the school your child attends.
