Man arrested after break-in at Flint City Hall

Flint Police arrested a man Sunday afternoon in Flint City Hall. Police found the windows of the front doors of City Hall had been broken and other signs of vandalism inside the building. The suspect was arrested inside a bathroom.
Alvern Lock, Flint's public safety director, says it appears that the suspect is a troubled individual who acted alone in this bizarre incident.
"We found the suspect in the bathroom washing his hands. We have no reason to believe that anyone else is involved," said Lock. "We are still investigating, but right now everything points to just an isolated act by someone who appears to be troubled."
City officials are assessing the damages.
Flint City Hall will be open for business April 11.
