Indian Trails extends daily service into Wisconsin’s north

Indian Trails, a premier U.S. motor coach company, has announced the start of new daily scheduled service between Duluth, Minn., and points along Wisconsin's Northern Tier.
The new service, which begins July 1, will extend west from its Upper Peninsula route, which currently ends in Ironwood, Mich. New points served include Duluth and the Wisconsin cities of Hurley, Ashland, Iron River, Brule and Superior.
"We are excited to bring daily service back to Northern Tier residents and make these cities more accessible to the areas we already serve," said Gordon Mackay, president of Indian Trails. "This new schedule will provide convenient connections to the rest of the national intercity bus network on the newest deluxe motor coaches available in the industry."
All Indian Trails coaches are newer models and feature luxurious amenities, such as roomy reclining seats, individual lighting and climate controls, as well as free WiFi, so passengers can surf the internet while they ride.
"Today's motor coaches are truly luxurious while being environmentally friendly," said Mackay. "Each motor coach has the potential of removing 55 automobiles from the highway, which reduces emissions, saves fuel and reduces congestion."
Now in their 101st year of business, Indian Trails operates 30 different scheduled routes while serving 113 communities throughout Michigan, Wisconsin, Indiana and Illinois. It serves more than a million passengers with their route and charter operations while traveling over four million miles each year.
